McDermott's stain is superior to the synthetic stains typically used throughout the industry with remarkably uniform saturation and consistency of color. The cue has been fortified with five coats of high-luster urethane to increase scratch-resistance dramatically. The design includes three exotic Central American cocobolo and West African zebrawood inlays. McDermott's exclusive Impact Control Ring made from a Polymer Matrix Composite developed by NASA maximizes feel.
